Go to the produce section and see how much a head of iceberg lettuce is. I went in today and checked because we use it in salad and sanchos, almost had a heart attack, $3 a head, up from $2.30 last week and $1.30 the week before. What the hell is going on? How high is it where everyone else is?

Ditto about buying heads of letteuce. Deb buys it pre-chopped too but last week she did tell me that she didn't buy a cucumber because it was $1.

I usually buy the lettuce in the bag and that is like $3.59 a bag.

We almost always buy heads of lettuce. Iceberg is on sale for .79 each (I believe).
