    Question OT/All My Children

Post by Chris Tue Feb 05, 2013 12:30 pm

Are you planning on watching the reboot of AMC when it premieres? I was never an AMC viewers while it was on ABC, but I did watch the series finale and am curious to see whether or not Erica took the bullet. Plus, in wanting to see this whole online venture succeed for the sake of OLTL, I have this urge to want to support AMC too; even if not as diligently.

So what say you, do you plan on watching AMC 2.0 as well?

I might check it out but I am not confident yet in this reboot.

Never got into AMC. The few times I tried to watch it came off as more melodramatic and "soapy" than OLTL and I couldn't really get into it.

I was never an AMC fan so I won't watch it but I am sure all their fans will. I am prepared for the OLTL re-boot. I bought a blu ray player with WiFi and I subscribed to Hulu so now I can watch OLTL on my TV when it airs in April.

I think I'm gonna do that too. I was just planning to watch it on my computer, but forgot all about how blu ray players have internet access. Now I just need a blu ray player.

AMC was good in the early 2000's but it got a little too crazy in the end and it spent way too much time showing Ryan...

I did research on Monday of all blu ray players and SONY came up the best one which is what I purchased. It was dirt cheap, $88.00 at Best Buy and it works beautifully and has a ton of Apps on it.

Yeah, I'm surprised at how cheap blu ray players are. I also saw some at Best Buy for under a hundred bucks and made a mental note to buy one sooner or later, but the realization that it would allow me to watch OLTL on TV again is extra intensive. Plus I know they play DVDs too, so what the hell. May as well.

The one I bought also plays 3D blu ray discs so its a versatile machine for so cheap. You can only watch 3D discs if you have a 3D TV which I don't.

I will give it a shot. I watched AMC in the 90's as a lead in to OLTL but wasn't hardcore with it. I stopped watching around the time that it became the Babe Show. I find the attempts of these revivals to be interesting, so I'm gonna go ahead and try and see if AMC can reel me in again.
