I don't really see a "human" face. He looks like some kind of shih tzu, lhasa, terrier type mix. Cute though.

Come on. So be it if you don't like pets but the differences between having a pet or a child are much greater than the similarities. As to the dog in question, I'm not keen on the breeds.

Semantics. The only major difference is that pets don't talk back and you don't have to buy it clothes. You have to care for pets and have responsibilities to them just like children. Feed them, take them to the vet, if they have a chronic medical condition you have to come out of the pocket for that too (I had a friend with a diabetic dog and its medication wasn't something you could just put on your insurance plan), walk them, spend time with them, shots, if you don't have them fixed, they'll have babies on you, etc, etc. And I never said that I don't like pets. I just don't bother with having one. The only person I'm going to put that much energy into taking care of and maintaining other than myself is my child.

Nope. I stand by everything I said. I've been a pet owner and a parent and the degree of care you have to give each is far greater for a child. Having a pet is not identical to having a child. And as for saying you don't like pets I meant that you don't want to be a pet owner. Which you've stated numerous times. Which certainly is no big deal.
