How to make the Lords relevant again ?

Dump the Cramers - they're pathetic, miserable women who can't keep a guy. They're jealous and petty and bitter. The only decent one if Addie and she's supposedly insane. Let's have more scenes of Todd's kids and Viki's kids - Jessica bringing Bree over to Todd's house so Sam and Bree can play together, Jack taking on a big brother role to Bree, Starr bringing Hope over to get to know her Lord cousins. As long as the Manning kids are written as Cramers, they'll never amount to anything good,. They're Mannings and Lords. If they remain with the Cramers, they're grow up bitter and jealous like Blaire and Dorian, petty and cruel and uncaring. Plus, with the way that Dorian openly badmouths Todd with NO respect for the boys shows that they should not be near her, as she has so little respect for the boys that she can't keep her mouth shut around them. Then again, Dorian is the most selfish, self-centred character on the show, with Blaire and John close seconds.

Bring on a male Lord relative, who actually uses the name, and have them marry/reproduce. The problem with the Lord family is that it has had too many women (who sacrifice the name every time they get married.) In the meantime, the few male Lord men (like Todd) are likely to be 'long lost,' and opt to keep their original surname after their heredity is discovered. As a result, the Lord name becomes less prominent and loses significance.

I had an idea once upon a time that Jack, realizing that he's a Lord heir and discovering the power of the name, start gluttonously calling himself "Jack Manning-Lord" and becomes competitive with Matthew [Buchanan].

I'd like to see that! Jack Manning Lord - sounds like a business name you don't want to mess with. Lately Matthew has become so wimpy and wussy that I;d LOVE to see a strong, dynamic Jack Manning Lord take on the wussy Matthew Buchanan. Too bad that Matthew's catering to his Mom's side, not the Buchanan side right now - was going to use Nora's last name, but I'm really not sure which one to use, as she has so many.

Why not have Todd and Children move into Llanfair and change their names while your at it to Manning-Lord. Right now Dorian is the only one carrying the Lord name.

The only one using the Lord name is Dorian, who isn't one. A new long lost Lord using the name could help. The writers tend to forget that Todd, Starr, Jack and Sam are Lords. Viki no longer acts like one, along with her daughters. Maybe it is best to just let it go.

But yeah - that name has been sacrificed to pimp the Cramers, it seems. I'd love to see a male Lord relative show up - one who could reclaim the name and reestablish the Lord dynasty. He doesn't have to be evil, but I wouldn't mind him being like... well - Edward Quatermaine, maybe, or Asa.

I just figured that Owen Morasco would likely change his name to Lord just to spite his father.

No need to dump the Cramers,just limit them and keep Dani out of their orbit and let ler have more interaction with the Lords and Buchananons.
Send Viki back to the Banner and give her and Todd a friendly working rivalry. Give Jessica back her brain and a spine to go with it.Send Kelly back to London and bring Kevin and Joey back instead.No more tales from the crypt from Victor.

Yeah bring back Kevin and Joey! I wouldn't mind the Cramers so much if they weren't on all the time, dominating the show, and if Dorian would lay off the "Cramer Women" crap. Let the Cramers take the back-burner for a bit and focus on the Lords. Maybe Victor had another brother who'd distanced himself from the family because of Victor. He could come back and everyone would assume he was like Victor, only he wouldn't be. Kevin and Joey can also come back, but Kelly can go.

It would be interesting to see some male Lords returning, including a Lord patriarch, who could face off against the Cramers - they'd start out hating each other but be attracted to each other at the same time, or you'd have the younger generation falling for each other, while Dorian and the male Lord tried to stop it. Dorian's good at that kind of thing, anyway.
