Don't watch GH but I read a rumor that John McBain is really Caleb that vampire from the Port Charles spinoff. Has this happened or is this something that's happening right now?

Well, they've shown John and Caleb both in separate places at once. (Both played be ME) So them being the same person is unlikely. They've also differentiated their appearance a bit. (Caleb has longer hair, for example)
I considered that maybe John WAS in PC but returned to Llanview at some point and Caleb started replacing him, but I think it's clear that ME is playing 2 separate characters.

On Port Charles Micheal Easton played Caleb the Vampire it has nothing to do with his character McBain on One Life to Live, he is playing 2 parts. The storyline is just plain ridiculous.
