Finally got my new laptop yesterday ( cool dance ). I downloaded Google Chrome (because it came installed with Internet Explorer pre-loaded...which I hate) but decided that I'm not downloading any more apps on it and am going to steer clear of downloading other shit I usually do (music, porn, etc.) because I don't wanna use up memory. Is anybody else paranoid about using up too much memory on their electronic devices?

Congrats on your laptop, Marc. Enjoy! Um, I'm not overly concerned with memory but if I noticed a decrease in performance I would probably uninstall some things. Although I don't have all that many downloads now.

It's the RAM memory that is most important and that's gonna be used up no matter what you do. Every time you watch a video, listen to music, open an app or even just turn it on, you are using up RAM.

I don't download a lot of things other people use. Don't want Google Chrome, although it makes my Gmail account almost impossible to use. I don't store music or games. And, once photos are edited and printed, I save them onto a disk and delete them. But I do have way too many sites bookmarked.

I don't worry about it on the PC too much but I do have a lot on here. The laptop has very little. I do worry about my phone though and I just cleared out a lot of apps yesterday.

Kudos on the new laptop, by the way!!
