What are some common day-to-day smells that do not generally fall under the 'disgusting' category that you can't stand?

Hair dye, I hate that smell, I hate every time I have to take my grandmother to the beauty shop to get her hair done, it is so sickening to me.

Hate going to the gas station. That smell sometimes gives me a headache.

Coffee. Especially "burnt" or "stale" coffee that you often smell in 7-11, Wawa and various other gas station food marts.

Oh yes, I HATE coffee, including and especially the smell of it. I hate that they have a free pot of it in the library now, I hate going down that aisle of Wal-Mart where they keep it all, disgusting.

I don't think most of these are "everyday" smells but it's the best I can come up with off-hand.

Burnt microwaved popcorn (and I have a friend who likes to eat her this way).
Body odor.
Yard debris that starts "cooking" inside its dumpster. That happened to me when I filled mine too soon (they're emptied every other week) and in the summer heat it reeked to High Hell.
Hair perm chemicals (one of the things I do NOT miss about the 80's!).
Dog breath.

Smoke

A bathroom after someone else has dropped a deuce.

Yes, that's part of the problem! When they leave it for me. Learn to flush, gawddawmnit!

Some of the perfumes some of the girls wear make me sick, especially when I am on the train!

This has got to be the shits for you. I remember reading other posts of yours regarding your allergy to fragrances and, as one who loves scent, I simply cannot imagine someone having such an affliction. Sorry, Shale.

I hate the smell of fish, literally makes me want to throw up.

I'm 50/50 with the stench of coffee. Sometimes I appreciate it, and other times I can't stand the aroma of it. It depends on my mood. I also don't like the smell of coconut.

I can not stand the smell of Subway. Walmart and a gas station near me have it and I can't stand it.

I can't stand the smell of the powder form Ajax and Comet.

The Walmart I go to here also has a subway in it as well!! Ugh, It's just to the right when you come in from the main entrance... which is why I go in through the garden center now. That's helped out a lot, since the stuff I mainly shop for isn't near the front.

chris used to get headaches from my shampoos... he said they smelled too chemically... so i found an organic shampoo that had ginger and olive oil... figured it might just make him hungry lol

You know what's stupid...they have Subway right by the produce (ours is a super walmart). I don't care for Walmart produce anyway, but sometimes like to grab a little amount. So, anyway, Subway can be smelled in the grocery area. So gross.
