It depends on what is being said. If it's damaging gossip, you bet.

There are a few asswipes where I work who undoubtably talk bad about me, but I don't care unless it is libelous and provable.

For the most part, I wouldn't care. I've been talked about before and have been alerted of it. The people who do the talking know better than to step to me though, so it's all good.

If it isn't something relating to my job or the future of it, then they can miss me on all the other nonsense. When I leave work, I become detached from everyone there, so whatever they're gossiping about (even if it's me) is a non-factor.
