Heard that the AMC reboot is being set five years after the events of the final episode on ABC. I wonder if this is going to be true for OLTL as well. Personally, I am not a fan of time line jumps. I feel like I was robbed of the years that I didn't see.

Re: Five years ahead.
I have only heard that happening with AMC because they're wanting to create a whole new teen scene, so they're jumping ahead 5 years so they can SORAS the characters last seen as young children to HS aged. Haven't heard that this was happening at OLTL so I suspect that it will only be a year later. Although that would be kinda weird since OLTL and AMC have always sort of existed in the same loose universe. But since the actor that played Sam (who is basically the same age as AMC's Miranda who will be SORAS'd) is coming back unaged, I assume this ain't happening here. We will see soon enough I guess.

Good. That's a slight relief. Much is being made about the new teen scene of AMC, but I'm glad that doesn't seem to be in the works for OLTL.

Re: Five years ahead.
I don't think they could do that for OLTL given the GH characters. They probably would've tried it otherwise.
I honestly don't know why AMC is even doing it. Since when has a soap needed an actual timeskip to justify children being teenagers all of a sudden? AJ and Miranda were born in 2004, which is 9 years ago. In soapland, that's more than enough time to grow into a bouncing 16-year-old. Especially considering the characters never underwent any real SORAS of any kind.

Re: Five years ahead.
I read that OLTL is basically picking up where it left off. Now with Todd getting news soon from some source that can prove his brother Victor is still alive things will heat up! I hope this means TSJ is coming back to OLTL, keep RH on GH.

Re: Five years ahead.
