| General Hospital Scoops & SpoilersPreviews for the week of 15-Mar-2010by Carol Banks Weber - Ethan fails to convey to Kristina that he’s never gonna be interested in her like that, so he squeezes her arm in reaction to her mouthing off at him.
- Sam gives Ethan lip for leaving a mark on Kristina’s arm.
- Kristina’s over Kiefer. Too bad (for her), he’s not over her quite yet.
- When Kiefer tries to pick Kristina up for their important date – to parade his hot girlfriend around to his soon-to-be-cohorts from Harvard – she declines, incurring his uncontrollable wrath.
- Kiefer lies in wait for Kristina at the lake house, fists clenched.
- In automatic mode, Kiefer clobbers Kristina for rejecting him like that, rendering her a bloody, bruised mass. And Ethan’s problem.
- Ethan also heads for the lake house, to talk some sense into a smitten Kristina and sees her sprawled out like a cut-up rag doll.
- Ethan tries to help the bloody puddle that is Kristina, but – thinking on automatic as a battered victim – she fights him off, landing a few deep cuts on his face.
- Ethan manages to gather Kristina up and quickly take her to General Hospital to save her life, without sticking around.
- Sonny and Alexis are summoned by General Hospital to tend to their brutally beaten daughter Kristina.
- Sonny is hit with a flashback of watching his own mom suffer at the hands of Deke.
- Alexis just wants Kristina to be okay. Sonny also wants to nail this abuser.
- Kristina fingers Ethan, not Kiefer, as her assailant.
- A name’s all Sonny needs. He goes to dispense justice, outlaw-style, firearm in hand.
- Before Sonny can blow Ethan’s head off, Dante rushes in and talks his dad down.
- Sonny assigns Jason to do the job (end Ethan’s life) for him. Jason reminds Sonny that Ethan’s the son of Luke, their mob ally.
- Jason goes to put out the hit on Ethan, as charged.
- Alexis gets in Jason’s way, so that Kristina doesn’t have the guilt of Ethan’s death on her conscience.
- Once Sam gets wind of what Ethan supposedly did to her sister Kristina, she goes on a rampage.
- Ethan lets Sam clobber him. He knows better than to raise a hand against a woman.
- Lucky gets Kristina’s statement while it’s fresh in her mind. She contends it’s Ethan.
- Nobody in this town, not even family, believes in Ethan, which disheartens the man. He can even sense Lucky’s wavering.
- A man who barely knew Ethan takes up his cause. Johnny tries to get it through to Jason that Ethan is not capable of doing this to Kristina.
- Kiefer returns to his victim, still recuperating at the hospital, to beg her not to rat him out, or else he’s gonna get it from his parents.
- Kristina sees Kiefer’s terror at the thought of his parental repercussion, and relents, opting to stick to her original accusation against Ethan.
- The authorities meet Ethan head-on, charging him with the assault of a minor.
- Ethan comes clean with having grabbed too tightly to Kristina’s arm, but otherwise, he swears he never punched her or anything like that.
- Lucky has to apprehend Ethan, hauling his own brother off to jail, shaken with incredulity.
- Lucky picks the brains of Kiefer’s mom and dad, pillars of the community who wield great power and hide many skeletons.
- Ethan brainstorms the fastest mode of transportation out of here, knowing his goose is cooked.
- Ethan makes bail thanks to Tracy, but must watch his back.
- Tracy struggles with her own nagging belief that maybe Ethan hurt Kristina this way.
- Lulu busts Ethan trying to bolt.
- Jason puts Kristina under a microscope when making inquiries about what happened.
- Jason’s questions distress Kristina.
- Jason grills Ethan about what he did to Kristina. Ethan swears he only grabbed the girl’s arm too hard.
- Jason senses immediately that Ethan may be telling the truth and Kristina’s hiding it for some reason. This will not gain him points with Sam or Sonny.
- Authorities (plus Mac and Alexis) can now connect Ethan’s DNA to Kristina’s abuse, as the case mounts against him.
- Jason turns to the one person who will hear him out without prejudice—Carly—about his theory regarding Kristina holding out. Maybe she’s afraid of the real abuser.
- Sonny censures Jason for being disloyal about Kristina.
- Sam snaps at Jason for daring to question her sister about her own abuse.
- Sonny cares for Kristina as gently as he can, which Dante takes note of.
- Kristina prevails upon Sonny not to lay a hand on Ethan. He can’t do that.
- Sam tenderly dresses Kristina’s wounds, so nobody in the outside world can see the bruises.
- Ethan flouts the restraining order by venturing to the lake house and to Kristina, to seek the truth from her.
- Michael learns the truth about Kristina and what Kiefer did to her.
- Dante arrives on Sonny’s private island to check things out, so Michael has to run for cover.
- Michael sorely wants Dante to catch him.
- Carly and Jax are no closer to a meeting of the minds.
- Carly lends Sonny her strength so he can go through with his trial.
- Port Charles versus Sonny Corinthos, the trial, commences as the characters take their places. Included amongst the hand-picked jurors: Coleman, Lisa, and Alice.
- When Johnny takes the stand against Sonny, he all but paints the mobster as a wife beater.
- Kate and Lulu deliver Maxie to the ER when her health drastically fails on the job.
- Monica delivers the diagnosis of pneumonia to Maxie, which is serious for a heart donation patient.
- Maxie assures Spinelli that she will not let sickness keep her down.
- Spinelli gains confidence that he’s enough for Maxie.
- Maxie considers the odds that she will not make it.
- Lucky confirms the relationship’s permanent unlock with Elizabeth. Baby or no baby, baby.
- The truth is, Liz’s baby is hers and Lucky’s after all. But Helena means to keep a lid on that, as delicious punishment.
- Helena prepares to tamper with the DNA/paternity test results, for Cassadine profit.
- Nikolas feels sucker-punched when Elizabeth bums out to the DNA results pointing fatherhood to him, not Lucky.
- Lucky talked a good game. But alone, he mourns the loss of that baby being his.
- Next week: Dante gets ready to testify against his father… Dante goes up against Johnny… Kristina might feel safe enough with Michael to divulge the real culprit… Luke petitions Sonny to be merciful to Ethan… Carly and Jason unite to determine what really happened… Lucky splits with Elizabeth for good and for real… Claire is privy to a horrible outburst from Sonny.
