I found a recipe online for Spinach and Meat Lasagna that I am going to try out in the crockpot maybe one day next week. It takes 3 hours to cook so maybe I will do it next weekend. Anyone ever have lasagna in the crockpot? I think Red said she did.

I know it can be done but I don't think we've ever made it that way. Bon Appetit! LOL, I sent a text to Deb asking if we ever had it and she answered no but did I want to try it this week end. Care to share your recipe Tony?

This is the one I am going to try, if you do it first let me know how it comes out. There is also a video showing how to do it on this website:
Ingredients
2 Pounds Hamburger Meat, fully cooked
2 Jars Marinara Sauce (or you can make your own)
1 Package Uncooked Lasagna Noodles
2 Pounds Ricotta Cheese
2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
1 Egg, beaten
Fresh Baby Spinach
Italian Seasoning to taste
Directions
Step One
Brown hamburger meat and add marinara sauce. Let simmer for 20 minutes. (You can also make your own marinara sauce).
Step Two
While simmering, in a bowl combine your ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and egg, Italian seasoning to taste and mix well.
Step Three
Spray the crock with cooking spray, and start your layers of 1) meat sauce 2) uncooked lasagna noodles 3) ricotta cheese mixture 4) spinach.
Step Four
Repeat layers one more time. Top with remaining meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Step Five
Cook on low for three hours, any longer will overcook the noodles!

PS I think I am going to try 3 layers instead of two, I like a lot of noodle.
