Do you prefer a good creamy Alfredo sauce, or a nice Italian marinara sauce?

Marinara.

Goes better with red wine.

Prolly Alfredo although either can be good.

Depends on what I'm eating... I like alfredo sauce with things like chicken or shrimp. But will choose a marinara sauce when eating stuff like meatballs or when the primary meat of the dish is ground beef or even sausage. But then there's the exception with dishes like Chicken Parmesan.

I really do love both though.

I'm more like Cheaps. Like them both. Love Olive Garden's alfredo sauce, and that's the sauce I prefer with shrimp. But, overall, I go with a spicy marinara.

Marinara to me is a chunky tomatoe sauce which I hate. I like a very smooth sauce without bits of clingy tomatoe in it. I prefer the red sauce to the alfredo.

Bless your heart. I thought the same thing (since I'm not wild about "chunky" pieces of tomatoes in mine, either) but "red sauce" didn't seem quite right. I so totally agree with you.

My family knows better than to serve me pasta or anything requiring red sauce with chunks of tomatoes in it. It literally makes me gag!
