| Texting. People driving drunk can still keep their eyes on the road, although their reflexes are dulled. You can't text and watch what's in front of you. | |

| You could almost make an excuse for the drunk because their judgement is impaired (almost by definition) but at least a sober texter can put the fucking phone down at any time. A drunk is drunk for the whole ride. I have no sympathy for either though. | |

| Both are bad and result in too many innocent ppl being killed by someone else's stupid decisions. Which is why I DELIGHT at news stories where a texter or drunk hit a solid object that kills them. The roads are just a little safer when that GOOD news occurs. | |

| I have a great disdain for both, but I'll go with drunk driving. Countless more people have been killed by drunk drivers than texting drivers. | |

| Both deserve their licenses revoked, but to me the texting driver is the bigger idiot, because their senses weren't compromised. They had the wits to know better, but chose to place value in something as unnecessary as reading and sending texts while operating a motor vehicle. Just a goofy thing to do. | |
