| I love board game nights! My son and I do them regularly. My favorites are: (with my son) Racko Doodle Dice Topple Scrabble card game Clue Scattegories My absolute favorite adult game is Scruples. It is a "what would you do" type of game and is so fun. | |

| Funny you mention Scruples because I was at the thrift shop today and they had a copy down there. | |

| Ha! When I posted that I was actually wondering if they still sell it new. It is $38 at Amazon..that is high. There are at least two versions, and I have both. Have you ever played it? | |

| Nope.
Amazon sells a lot of stuff high. I got this game Razzle from the thrift shop for $1, on Amazon it's between $18 and $100. And I got the 1989 edition of Pente from that shop for $1 too, the 1989 edition sells on Amazon for about $35.

| I don't have many board game favs. Scrabble is fun I guess. I liked Apples to Apples a lot. I think I liked Malarky too. I think I am typically more drawn to games with less board and more conversation.(Like the latter two)

| Super, have you ever played Blockus? My friend has it and it is fun. But it is a pricy game. I was going to buy it at Christmas and it was $30.
I have bought almost all of our games used at rummage sales. We have a ton, but only play our favorites, it seems.

| It is a board game that is a little like Tetris. You have to place as many of your randomly shaped tiles as you can, up to your 21 pieces, one piece at a time. It gets trickier as they are randomly shaped and the game board is a grid of small squares.
Here it is explained: Purpose of the game : The purpose of the game is for each player to place his/her 21 pieces on the board (or at least the maximum number of pieces).
Restrictions : Each player must begin at one of the corners of the board (screenshot 4) The order of play is blue, yellow, red, green Each new piece that is placed on the board must touch another piece of the same colour, but it can only touch at the corners, never along the sides (screenshot 5)
End of the game : When a player is blocked and can no longer place any pieces on the board, s/he must miss his/her turn. The other players continue in the normal order of play until no one can place any more pieces on the board

| Scattergories is a game where you pull a card that give you the category, then you role a giant, multi-letter dice. From there you have one to three minutes (game comes with an automatic timer) to write down as many answers starting with that letter as possible. | |
