Cole Has Met His Match

I think he has met his match in James. I guess Cole expected James to back down by now but I don't think it is happening. No matter what Cole says or does, James comes right back to him. Loved when James told him we kissed the same way for show when Cole thought he had gotten rid of James by kisssing Starr.

Yeah - but James better be careful because Cole's a heartless, violent cretin who has a corrupt, criminal cop to protect him and a corrupt, criminal DA who will help him get off, no matter what he does. James will be tangling with John and Nora with only the slightest word from cowardly Cole who can't stand on his own feet and has to be backed by all three of Llavniew's most corrupt residents - John, Nora and Dorian. Plus, he has his enabler mommy who's unable to see the truth and whines to John and Nora, who also enable him.

still, it's refreshing to see that James isn't backing down form the cretin.

I loved how James didn't seem at all rattled by Cole, and instead was amused at his attempting to intimidate him. I also got a kick out of how James laughingly saw through those phony displays Cole and Starr attempted to put on for his benefit.

I think it was one of the few times I ever enjoyed a Cole/Sole scene.

James was cool, calm and collected while Cole looked like the jealous brat he is. James knows there's trouble between Starr and Cole and he knows how upset Cole is that Starr has feelings for him, despite what she's saying. I loved James' amusement, too - he knows he's getting to Cole and I love it!

Yeah - reminds me of this thing my Mom used to tell me when someone was bugging you "Rise above it" and that's just what James is doing - rising above Cole, who's looking petty and insecure and has every reason. He has a real man for competition, one who would lay down his life for Starr, not use her like a shield to keep himself out of jail the way Cole did.
