I love "Gloria" and how can you not love the pre-Thriller simplicity of that video? Looks like it was shoot in the hosiery department of JCP! So "vintage early 80s" (and I mean that in a good way).

I like all of her music, she was such a powerful singer and performer. She didn't have an easy life but she never let it get her down. I agree about the vid, very 80's.

No disrespect but for reason I always get her confused with Juice Newton and think it was Laura Branigan that recorded that "Just Call Me Angel" song.
( I know the 2 couldn't be any more different. )

I think Juice Newton was a lot older than Laura.
