Does anybody here watch movie serials and if so, which ones have you seen?

I've seen both of the Batman serials: Batman from 1943 and Batman and Robin from 1949, I LOVE those serials...I've seen some of the Superman serials too but they don't hold my interest as much.

I've also seen The Hurricane Express, with John Wayne, it was fan-TASTIC, and S.O.S. Coastguard, another good one, and I've seen some of the Sky Raiders, those are great too!

Would "serials" be the same as a continuing "series"....(i.e. sequels)?

Just my opinion but I think the distinction of a serial is that each episode ends on some dramatic moment that leaves the audience desperate to know what happens. I think that's where the expression "cliff hanger" actually comes from. In the silent picture era, there was an actress named Pearl White (The Periles of Pauline) which had the heroine literally hanging off the edge of a cliff at the end of some episodes. I suppose a series is technically a serial too but I always thought of a serial as being more dramatic.

Anway, yes I used to watch reruns of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers (and some others I can't remember the names of) on TV as a kid.
