    I have had nothing but bad experiences with talking to people overseas when I have had a problem. Dell is one of them. I have called Dell Tech support many times and have always gotten someone from India that I can't understand and they have very limited knowledge and usually will not be able to help out with my problem. I finally had to pay $150.00 to Dell to get an English speaking person in the US to help me with tech support. What extortion is this?

    We got the Rosetta Stone program to learn Spanish, about halfway through it, it started screwing up, so we called the number on the box, got an Indian guy who barely speaks English and IS IN INDIA so what's he going to do about it?

    It totally sucks. But you know why they do it. It's cheaper to pay the people overseas for the same work. They don't give a shit about you not being able to understand the guy. It's YOUR inconvenience, not theirs.

    I think it stinks. Unfortunately, business always goes to the lowest overhead possible. If it was possible to stop paying workers altogether, they would do it gladly. Sadly, too many Americans are completely apathetic to it until it personally affects them (i.e., they lose their job to the company being outsourced to India.)
