"Show me which one. Show me which one," he said.

The video showed the man head down the center aisle to confront other students.

"This is my daughter, and I will kill the (expletive) who fought her," he said.

In the video, the school bus driver can be seen allowing the man to get on the bus and doesn't appear to budge as the man warns the group of students, who were on their way to a Lake Mary school earlier this week.

With bullying becoming an even bigger issue in schools, several parents have decided to take matters into their own hands instead of turning to school officials or police to straighten out bullies.

In Broward, another angry dad pulled a stun gun on a fifth grader who was bullying his son at school. He was arrested and charged with felony child abuse.

The Seminole County Sheriff's Office may seek charges of false imprisonment, disorderly conduct, interrupting a school function and assault.

"Here you have an adult, a grown man, who is probably by hand able to carry out these threats -- to do serious bodily harm or kill these children," Seminole County Sheriff's Office Lt. James Clark said.

I understand the guy being fed up with his daughter always being targeted, but that does not give him the right to take it that far. As far as anyone knows for sure, his daughter could have been making the whole thing up. Probably not, but it could happen.

Very Madea's Family Reunion-esque. Without question, the wrong approach to take, but I can't be mad at him. From the sounds of it, his daughter is younger and probably in elementary or middle school. School administrations tend to be very laxed when it comes to handling bullying.

He alright with me, he was just defending his child. Don't think he acted unlike any father would if his baby girl was messed with. The bully got bullied. Cool.

Honestly I wouldn't have acted any differently....especially if it were my daughter....if she had Cerebral palsy and was being hit and had condoms thrown at her.

Sure he was out of line and his way of handling it wasn't constructive at all, but I totally get where he's coming from.

My heart goes out to the guy.
He let his anger get the best of him, but what would you expect from the dad of a disabled girl physically taunted by her stronger peers? I'd be ready to kill. He should get off with just a warning.

He might have chosen the wrong tactics but I can't agree that he should be punished. Lots of bullying goes on and adults who witness it do nothing about it. Sometimes it can be really damaging to a kid and it's not as if the Dad came onto the school bus with a gun and blew the bullies away. Wrong tactics, but not worthy of all the stoning they're trying to do to him.

Besides, if his daughter is supposed to suck it up and take the abuse from the bullies, the bullies can handle a man yelling at them.

Few think she should have to suck it up and he threatened more than just the bullies. He said,
"If anything happens to my daughter I'm going to (expletive) you up and everybody on this (expletive)."

I was reading again about this on another forum and I am really taken aback by this guy's defenders. I am sorry she is picked on mercilessly, and has CP and is now apparently hospitalized under suicide watch. But that does not give that father the right to have a super sized temper tantrum in front of all the kids, innocent among them.

On a smaller scale, my son had an issue with this at an event this past summer. There is an Autistic boy "N" that is part of the same sport we are. He gets teased a lot and has for as long as we have known him. My son does not tease him.


This summer, N was on the PA system and was commenting on a girls and which ones were "hot". There was nothing scandalous about it, kids thought it was funny, adults did not think it was offensive. Later on, a group of boys asked who was the one on the PA who was saying all that, and my son responded, "That was N." N's dad heard this. He did not know about any of the situation because he did not hear N on the PA. And as soon as he heard my son name N, he tore into him. He basically told him that he is sick of all the kids blaming N for things and that he is going to make things really hard for all the kids who bother him. He colored all this with the F word more than once.

So, I approached the dad. He apologized and defended himself by saying that he has had to look out for N all his life because he is Autistic and so he is very defensive. I explained to him that by pouncing without knowing the whole story he is going to lose friends for N. I also explained that my son did not deserve to be yelled at like that and made to be embarrassed. In the end, he was pretty decent about it and apologized.


So, with this school bus story, I am pissed off for all the innocent kids that were privy to his actions and his rants and threats. It is not fair to them. I am sure most were not effected by it. But some of the more timid kids, or other special needs kids on the bus, may have been. All of this guy's supporters are probably doing so because she has CP. But I bet few are stopping to think of any other special needs kids who may have been on that bus and were very disturbed by what the guy did.

I am not saying that this girl in the story wasn't really teased. She probably was and this dad needed to raise heck in the school or if he wanted to make it personal, then he should have gone to the homes of the children bullying.

The guy on the morning show basically said that in so many words. xD

He may have crossed a line but again, nobody seems to give a hoot about her being belittled by bullies.

As for him going to the bullies' homes, I could only imagine the hell he'd be in had he done that.

Well, I give a hoot that she was bullied. But he went about it so ass backwards, and I can not understand his defenders.

Maybe he did. But parents aren't always rationalize when their children are under attack.
