That's one activity I think I'm a little too smart to attempt. It'd be just my luck that that day the wind picks up and blow me over a building they're dynamiting or something.

Re: Sky diving
There's no way in hell I'd ever jump from an airplane. No way! I don't "get" that at all.

Re: Sky diving
Pay me enough and I might. I have no interest in sky diving or base or bungee cord jumping or anything like that just for thrills. If I want a 'thrill', I'd get on the Kingda Ka.

Re: Sky diving
I think I would. But it is really expensive, in my opinion. The first time a person goes, it is tandem so it is not like I would have to be prepared for a whole lot.

Re: Sky diving
I would have enough balls to at least get on the plane even if somebody had to push me out when it came time to jump.

Re: Sky diving
It's not on my bucket list but I think I could. I don't have a problem with heights.

Re: Sky diving
So funny that this topic is semi-recent as a high school friend of mine is coming to my city next weekend to do it and wants me to join. If I am in town, I think I will go.
But we would be doing something called static line. That is different than tandem jumping. It seems much more "user friendly" but still, they do a three hour course prior to the jump. Wonder why it is that long?

Re: Sky diving
I really don't understand how it works enough to even consider it. My luck, I'd wind up landing on electric barbed wire.
