HomeDoes anybody remember this movie from the 70s with Pam Grier as Coffy, the nurse turned shotgun toting vigilante who went after the drug peddlers? I LOVE that movie, they should show it on TV more often.

I saw Pam Grier in a move called "The Big Doll House" it was a women's prison movie I think from the 70's and even though they were making the women out to be bimbo's, it was quite good! She has also been on several episodes of Smallville lately she looks great!

I find it odd that people still use that term to describe certain movies when even the actors themselves say they were not blaxploitation.
I've seen Coffy and Foxy Brown, both when they were on the TCM Underground, but Coffy was better.

It's a genre. I'm not trying to be PC.....in general, that's what Coffy and Foxy Brown would fall into.
