| No. Some people just have no stake in the matter whatsoever. | |

| Guess it depends on what you identify as a problem. At a young age I identified cetain problems in society that I felt I could change. I agree with the saying and figure if I'm gonna complain about something I also should be ready to start trying to change things. It's a personal choice and not everyone has to feel that way. | |

I basically agree. There may be some instances where by your actions or inactions you’re making things worse (being part of the problem) but not always.

| I agree with the sentiment. I think it should only be directed to people with a shared interest in whatever topic this is in reference to.
One can liken it to anything from people who don't bother to vote or learn about candidates' positions, all the way down to parents who complain about their child's school but don't do anything proactive to bring about change.

| Besides, I might not agree it's a problem I need to help solve. | |

| I don't agree with it on a wide scale. I agree that it can be applied to many instances, but I think there comes a time when you have to ask yourself who is making the determination of what is the solution and what is the problem. There are many cases where people who think they're part of some solution are really part of a problem.(Or at the very least, merely wasting their time pounding sand. xD) | |

| Only if I felt I could help solve the problem, if not, I will stay out of it. | |
