A fun little Halloween movie, not much else I don't think. Though it does have what I consider to be one of those terrific JUMP scare moments, when the boy's looking for his little sister and pulls back the covers and one of the witches pops up...for about 3 times in a row, I saw that movie and even though I knew it was coming, I still jumped when Sarah Jessica Parker jumped up in the bed.
On a side note, this is one of those movies that has a character attempt at being a smartass and say 'everybody knows Halloween was invented by the candy companies'...who is everybody and when did this idea come about? I've heard this a couple of times in TV and movies, but where the hell do they get that one from? Who would ever think that?
