I can't believe that it isn't crossing Rex's dimwitted mind at all that Echo could be his mother as he goes over all these theories about her connection to the whole thing.

Rex is too stupid to put the pieces together. This is the idiot who thought that it was okay to keep a man from his son and forge a death certificate because the guy already had two kids. Besides, Rex doesn't have a real PI license. It came from a cereal box. Wink

Somewhere in soapland, kids have been born and SORAS'd into adulthood in the time since Rex's mommy/daddy issues began. I'm numb to the whole thing now, and am remembering that...hello, I don't even like Rex! Never have. For a fleeting minute his maternity and paternity whodunits had become so convoluted that I had forgotten my dislike of the character. Kill him off and then let whoever conceived him show up to the funeral.
