| The White Castle thread prompted this question.
I HATE onions, period. I remember a few years ago my mother held a 4th of July party and her boyfriend ignorantly assumed that everybody liked onions and made the burgers with onions inside....literally ruined my time.

| Not really, I will remove them if I can but in the case of WC, I leave them on. When I get a Greek Salad, first thing I do is remove the onions and I never put them on sandwiches or anything but I do cook with them. | |

| 90% of the time, no. On occasion, I can sometimes tolerate large onions on burgers that have lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard, etc., etc. What I really don't care for, though, are little chopped up onions on things like pizza or in salad. That's pretty nasty to me. | |

| Most of the time I don't even like the onions in my onion rings. But I like onion powder in potato soup and meatloaf. | |

| I love onions but don't eat them often. I have to plan to be isolated the next day.
Srsly, it's in the UN Charter - something about biological warfare.

| Depends if I'm in the mood for it. I don't really eat raw onions, I'll eat them grilled or cooked if I'm in the mood for it. I mainly use grilled onions if I'm going to eat them......on my burgers, in my fried rice, in my stir frys, etc. | |

Yeah, those foods don't need onions. I think people don't like onions because they've eaten them with foods that don't complement them well at all. Like when I used to eat pork, it would be considered blasphemy to me to have an Italian stuffed sausage with no green peppers and onions. Tomatoes and onions are another great combination.....onions are delish in spaghetti sauce. They're great in shrimp creole too.

| I like onion flavor seasoning, but dislike onions themselves. | |

Thank goodness! Thought I was gonna be all alone here. Love them. Even request them to be added sometimes.

| Depends on what is is and if they're raw or fried. Love fried onions on burgers, but not raw onions... okay - there's almost no instance in which I like raw onions except maybe in Greek salad if the pieces aren't huge. | |

| Onions are the produce of the Devil. (That basically means NO.) | |

| I'm not a fan of onions on anything, I don't see how they improve the taste of anything. | |
