Someone commented on one of my tats on the Picture Thread. I was wondering if I am the only one here with ink. I have 5 so far. I think getting tattoos is addictive.
My tats have personal significance, even the generic AUM and Peace symbol which were parts of my life and history.
My first tat was the commemorative Butterfly of me and my wife. She was into butterflies and her daughter and two sisters were getting butterfly tats done in 2001 when we spread her ashes in a Butterfly Garden. So I took the design from our wedding day and put it on my arm. I later did a commemoration to me and Jim, my partner for 5 years. It is also my own design expressing my bisexuality.
Peace Symbol and AUM Script (not my design but a part of my life)
The Scorpio was supposed to be my first tattoo, but I never got around to it. It was my second tat done the same month after getting the Butterfly.
