Does anyone find it very conspicuous how for ten years Kelly hasn't shown any lingering interest Joey, and now all of the sudden is re-infatuated with him? For all of the 2000s, it was all about Kevin for Kelly. She was obsessed with him. Obsessed with being his wife. Obsessed with having a family with him. They were an only slightly less dysfunctional version of Todd and Blair. Now, out of nowhere, she's fixated on Joey.

Probably because Joey is coming back with his girlfriend Aubrey and they want to create a love triangle with Kelly since Kelly has no real storyline anymore and I guess they don't want to lose Gina Tognoni.

The return of Joey is all about Kelly needing a story. They have fumbled so bad with her return. Her dead mother, her mixing it up John, with Todd, with Reed, and with Rex has all been crap and they know it. So instead of moving on the desperately dig back into the past and revive old stuff from the 90s, like the Kelly/Blair feud that had been resolved and now her old romance with Joey that she hasn't cared about in a decade.

They really have messed up Kelly's return. I was really excited about GT but they're written things in such a way that I have no interest in Kelly anymore.
