So do I. I also wish she wasn't inserted into the Double WTD storyline as Natalie's BF. Gigi just makes everything so boring. She and Charlie should have been father and daughter.

LOL I agree, I used to like Gigi when she was in the Bon Jour cafe storyline but now I wish she would head off to Xanadu.

I think it was the "1968" storyline that ruined her character for me. I haven't quite liked her since.

So folks, now that the week is done, what do you think of this consolidated "OLTL Episode Discussion Thread" idea? Good idea, or no?

When Stacy came to town thats when I started to dislike her. I ff most of her 1968 scenes.

Yeah - that was about the only time I've liked Gigi. ONce they brought her to Llanview and paired her with Rex, she went steadily downhill fast and it's just gotten worse since then. ITA that she makes EVERYTHING boring!!!

I like it, but I also miss some of the topical posts. I guess I'm not much help.

I never liked Gigi, and really did not appreciate the way Farah Fath fell on the show, via her being a Brian Frons pet project. It is my understanding that she and Frons met at a party, shortly after her stint at DOOL wrapped, where she made mention to him that she was an available agent and would welcome coming to ABC. From there Frons instructed Carlivati to create a role for her.

^^^^I never heard that. Either way, I think Gigi is a better addition than any other adult character we've had recently.

UGH - I didn't know that history about FF. I hated her as Mimi on Days and really tried to give her a chance on OLTL but found myself feeling like I was watching Mimi again. I was annoyed at the blind faith she had in Marcie and how she was endangering her son by helping a fugitive, but I was able to tolerate her in Texas, so I guess like is really the wrong term. I didn't automatically reach for FF when she was on back when they were all at the Bon Jour cafe, but the more she was thrust down out throats, the more I grew to really hate her. 1968 and having her thrust down our throats ad nauseum made me so sick of her that nothing TPTB will do will ever make me like her.
