Do you have any (close) biracial relatives....if you do, are they treated differently in amongst the rest of the family because they are mixed race?

I have a first cousin who was stationed in Japan in the Army. He married a Japanese woman and had children but I've never seen them. He lives now on Okinawa.

My wife's family is mostly black but she has a sister that is quite bright. Also neices and nephews that have married white ppl and now have birracial children. But with all the bright members of the family they just blend in unnoticed.

In fact, I think my grandsons thot I was just a bright family member for a while.

    In my family, not really.

    My grandfather was Irish.

I'm married to a Japanese woman. My brother lives in Japan married to a Japanese woman. My brother is married to a White woman and lives in GA.. My sister is married to a white man and lives in KY. My parents had 9 children and 4 of us are married to other than another black man or woman.

    No issues at all.

My nephew's mother is White/Vietnamese and besides a few dated remarks about his "good hair" from the grandparents, he's not treated any different for it in our family.

Yup - most of my family is actually biracial and no - no one is treated any differently. Love is more important than what a person looks like.

My uncle married a Japanese woman, so my cousins from that marriage are bi-racial. They were never treated any differently.
