My favorite Christmas movie is Prancer. When I was seven years old, my dad took me and my brothers to see it the day after Thanksgiving.

Re: Favorite Christmas movies
I have 3 in my collection that I will be watching over the next month.
This Christmas
Nothing Like the Holidays
are a couple that deals with large families coming together for the holidays.
The other is a romcom that I like and is seasonal, especially since part of it takes place in LA where they do not have traditional cold snowy Xmas season, just like Miami Beach.

I always found that movie so depressing. Saw it once and that about did it for me.
Okay, favorites:
A Christmas Carol/Scrooge (1951)
Scrooged (1988)
A Muppet Family Christmas (for some reason this is severely edited on VHS and DVD, was only shown in full form on TV about 20 years ago)
Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
A Flintstone Christmas Carol
A Christmas Story
Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
Home Alone
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

Re: Favorite Christmas movies
A Christmas Carol is my favorite. There are so many different version of it, though, that I can't tell you which one I prefer. But I do like the older, classic versions better.
I also liked the female version of it: A Diva's Christmas Carol, starring Vanessa Williams, that was made for TV ten years ago.

Re: Favorite Christmas movies
I'm a sucked for "A Christmas Carol" and the various remakes. The Muppet version always cracks me up - poor Rizzo the Rat.
Also love:
Miracle on 34th Street (both versions)
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (original, not the human one)
Rudolf
Frosty
Charlie Brown Christmas
Best Christmas Pageant Ever
A Mom for Christmas
Those are the ones off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are more
