According to Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone Magazine, the Tea Party is full of whites who believe that they are an oppressed minority in the Age Of Obama.

I'm not TOTALLY white but I'm not so far removed from white society to be able to say that I've never been discriminated against on the basis of THAT. I know some whites have, but I think it's very rare. Can any whites here describe situations where they've been discriminated against based on their skin color?

That is not what the tea party believes so its all kind of moot.

A lot of whites confused instances of racism with being the same institutionalized racism. So I don't think you will be hard pressed to find where a white person have felt the sting of racism. But that is totally different than racism backed by the government and modern American society. Things are changing for white America in a way that has not happened since the creation of this country.

Whites are now looking around and seeing more Latinos, Asians.....more non-Christians, more people who don't dress, talk, and act like them.

..and if you have always known one way and then wake up one day having to view different things it must be unnerving.

Currently whites make up 200 million out of 300 million people in the US. Even with all non-white races combined they only comprised 100 million (or there about) but many whites FEAR they are the minority race.

No I can't.

Everyone is/can be discriminated against, white people included. The thing about it is that white people have such societal prevail that when it happens to them, it has little to no lasting effect on the standing or psyche of their overall community. In other words, affront a white person for being white, and his core being won't demeaned or hindered. Figuratively, he can walk five feet and be empowered again.

True. I also think some white people operate under a cocky assumption that everything is fair and equal for everybody and so when they see minorities BLATANTLY celebrating themselves and their culture, they think "Hey, that's racist!"
