Re: Car Accidents
Never been in anything serious (knock on wood) but have been in a few fender benders. Only one was my fault, but then again.....not really. The bitch should've moved her car when the light turned green. I actually got sued for that. And I barely tapped her. Niggas always trying get over on somebody.

I had a situation similar. This woman wasn't driving in a lane...she was taking up two. Because it was rush hour traffic and because the bitch wasn't in only one lane, I wound up tapping her. Then she gonna pull up and be like "Do you know you just hit me?" "Bitch, do you know you only supposed to be in one lane." They teach that in drivers ed.

Re: Car Accidents
Four. First one I was a passenger when I was about 7 so I don't remember specifics. Second one was my fault. I was 17 and just didn't see the stop sign and T-boned some 80 year old woman. According to the accident report, she had 50 years behind the wheel and I had 9 months. Third was the day before my wife and I got married. We were on our way to the hall to drop off some things and pay the bill. I'm driving in the slow lane of a two lane road, where I'm supposed to be. A pick-up in the left lane was stopped to make a left. Unfortunately, he was blocking the field of vision of this ditz doing the same thing from the opposite side. Imagine both our surprises. Neither my wife or I needed the government to tell us we had to wear our seat belts so we were able to make it to our wedding the next day. Everyone was great. We had witnesses that I wasn’t at fault and cops gave us a ride back to my almost mother-in-law’s house. What was left of my car actually got towed there first which was unfortunate because it looked like someone could have died in the wreck. Car was fixed by the time we got back from the honeymoon. Fourth time, someone pulled out in front of me again trying to make a left. That was the same car that was in the third accident. Got a new one after that.
Oh wow, I just remembered two more. They were between #’s 3 & 4 above. I was going down a hill in winter behind a snow plow and skidded into it at the bottom. I don’t think the driver even knew because he turned left and I turned right. Reminded me of the joke where a bird is screwing an elephant from behind. A coconut falls on the elephant’s head and she says “Ouch!” The little bird stops and asks, “Am I hurting you?”
The next one was sometime after that. Traffic stopped unexpectedly. I managed to as well but not the guy behind me. We both get out to check the damage and neither one of us can see a scratch. We both kind of shrugged, shook hands and went on our way. Except for the one when I was 17, all of the others were in the same 1976 Toyota . Looking back, I guess the car might have been cursed. Still, after it became very liberating to drive because I didn’t care about merging with people driving better cars.

It was so funny. I was pulling out of a McDonald's parking lot and I made a left turn. Now I saw that the light was red when I actually made the turn, then it turned green when I was actually in the lane. So I'm coming up behind this car and I was a least 30, 40 ft away from it when the light turned green. She was the first car at the light when it changed so she should've pulled off long before I got to her. I wasn't going fast but I didn't really slow down either because I assumed her dumb ass would see the light and press her foot on the gas. When I realized her stupid ass wasn't going to do it, I had to slam on brakes to avoid slamming into her and I did it just in time enough to tap her bumper. I get out of the car to see what's going on and the people are in the car just looking ahead and not acknowledging me. Like I really fucked up her car or something. There was NO damage to her car or mine. She gonna call the cops and they came out there and made a report and issued me a ticket for tapping her after I explained what really happened. Whatever. The kicker was.....about 8 months later, I was asleep in my room and my mother woke me up and was like "there is a cop out here that wanna talk to you". I'm like 'What?!'. Go out there and the cop give me a summons to appear in court. This bitch is suing me. And it wasn't even the person that was driving. It was a passenger who was in the car. If the driver wasn't hurt, the fuck makes you think you were hurt? I had to go thorough that whole process, my insurance company gave me a lawyer and we went through litigation and everything. Did a follow up on the case, State Farm didn't pay her shit. Her 'injuries' were unfounded. And whatever they were, they didn't come from that accident. What was funnier, they offered to give her something earlier but she wouldn't take it. She wanted more so she got a lawyer. And wound up not getting anything. Dumb hoe.

Re: Car Accidents
IDK how it is in NY but in Miami you do not take off just 'cause the light turns green. You wait for the four or more cars running the red light to pass.Nystyle709 wrote: ...So I'm coming up behind this car and I was a least 30, 40 ft away from it when the light turned green. As for me, my most notable accident was being hit by this woman while on my bicycle. The norm here in Miami is hit and run, but I destroyed her driver side windshield with my head, so she's out in the street screaming about what I did to her car while I'm standing in a daze with blood dripping off my head.
That was a good thing because a witness got so insensed at her she came forward and explained how the woman crossed a double yellow line to hit me. Cop still gave ME a ticket but the insurance co. talked to the witness and settled with me for $2.5K, with which I hired a ticket clinic to take care of that injustice and bought a new bike. Luckily, I didn't get seriously injured, just bruises from rolling on her hood and stitches in my scalp. Hurt like hell for a couple days.

Re: Car Accidents
I've never been in any accidents with other people. I made a few dents in my Mom's car when I first started driving, but that's it.

Re: Car Accidents
I've been in three, but caused just one. It was winter and I was driving during a snowstorm when the light turned red. As I tried to stop I wound up sliding into the car in front of me. I don't remember there being much damage, maybe a dent.

Re: Car Accidents
I have been in just one but I wasn't the driver. It was ALL my friends (the driver) fault. We were in a parking lot and he was in a rush to leave. He sped out, not looking and wound up hitting an oncoming car. I was surprised the woman he hit didn't act a fool on his butt, instead she just seemed speechless over what just happened.

Re: Car Accidents
Yeah, a couple. Only one was my fault and it was a biggie. I flipped my car when a back road turned from blacktop to gravel. I broke my neck. It was all a nightmare, but I am so happy that I didn't end up in a wheelchair. Just a bunch of metal in my neck.

Re: Car Accidents
Nah, there wasn't anything stopping her from going. She had ample time to go before I got to her.Shale wrote:

^^That does smell like an insurance scam. You're lucky the whole car load didn't sue.

Re: Car Accidents
Only two. First one, it was the fault of the guy who cut me off as we were approaching a red light. I had to hit the brakes and the guy behind me hit ice and couldn't stop in time but there was no real damage. The idiot who cut me off made a left turn against a red light and didn't even realize he'd caused an accident. My trailer hitch got bent up but other than that, there was no damage.
Other one was also really minor, with no damage. I was making a right hand turn and had a yield sign. I'd stopped because there was traffic coming, making left hand turns, and the person behind me wasn't paying attention and hit me but there weren't any marks on either car, and I barely felt it, as we were both going slow.
