Have you ever been hypnotized? If so, what was the experience like? If not, would you consider it?

I haven't but I might consider it at some point to deal with insomnia. Then again, maybe not.

Never been hypnotized and not sure I'd want to be - I guess it would depend on the reason. Might be a good way to get over my fear of spiders before I go to South America, though.

I was for quitting smoking. I quit, but not due to the hypnosis. I was already stopped smoking, but wanted extra measures to make sure. Kind of a waste of money in my opinion. Though, having spent the money was an indirect motivation.

The one thing about it that was strange is that after the session, she asked me how long I felt I was under. I said about 15 minutes. It was actually 45. So, I was in a relaxed state of sorts, as I usually am good at gauging time.

For losing weight and quitting smoking & such, wouldn't you revert right back to old habits as soon as you come out of hypnosis?
