Whose been in one in their life? When was the last time you got into one? Who started it (and why)? Did you win or lose?

Sorry if this sounds immature, but I'm just curious. I rarely hear people talk about this sort of thing. Watching the movie Fightclub made me think of this.

I can only recall 3 distinct ones during my childhood (1 that I won, 1 that I lost and the other was a tie-stalemate). The last one was when I was 17. As an adult, I've stayed out of trouble so far, and I intend to keep it that way.

One adolescent fight. My first cuz hit grandma and I grabbed him. He started swinging so I started jabbing him in the face. I think I was a little bigger, but his mom separated us and nothing came of it. (except he stole an uncles gun and was going to shoot me, but they found him first).

One time as an adult supervising a clean-up crew I got attacked by an employee whose card I punched out because he was not working. I didn't fight back (my ahimsa stage) just covered with my arms and called for help until he left.

So, not much of a fighter. Luckily I have size and look mean enuf that ppl leave me alone.

I've had one. I was about 5 and my best friend and I got into over who knows what. He kicked me in the balls and that was the end of the fight. Technically it wasn't really a "fist fight". plop

When I was about 14 or 15 I had a fist fight with the neighborhood bully. He was always picking on the weaker people and for some reason everyone was afraid of him. One day he started picking on a friend of mine and I just lost it and started swinging. I am not proud to say I was the winner but he got a pretty good beating and he never bullied anyone again after that. Background information: growing up with 3 brothers older than myslef there was always fist fights between us when our parents were not around so I had a lot of practice defending myself against them. When I got beat up they would say that they were making a man out of me LOL!! I love my brothers.

"Fist fight" sounds so formal....like both parties are just standing there taking back and forth swings and jabs at each other like on TV. Haven't done that since I was maybe 14 or 15. The last physical ALTERCATION I had was when I was 19.
