Bored, I decided to run to the gas station for a snack. I step outside and am shocked to see that it is nearly blizzarding outside. All month long there have been light, inconsequential flurries, but this time I had to clean off my windows. It might be a white Christmas.

Its been so cold here the past week, we had snow flurries on Monday and the temps have dropped down into the 20's. We could have a NY white Christmas as well!

Record breaking cold here on Wednesday. I knew it was coming so I took the day off so I wouldn't have to bike 6 miles to work at 7 AM in 40 degree weather. 
But it got up into the 60s by noon so I biked to the Cineplex and saw a movie. :biggrin:
Srsly, you guys up north can laf, but I was raised in snow country and when I found out it wasn't a necessary part of life I moved to Miami Beach. Now, 40 degrees is very unpleasant for me. I hate having to put on clothes.

Snowed last weekend. Not a good sign for the coming winter. Looks like it might be a repeat of last year.

KEEP THAT SHIT OVER THERE! I spoke to my friend on Sunday in Chicago....she said it was snowing out that way. I told her not to send that shit to NY. I'll deal with the cold, but I don't want to deal with the snow for at least another month.

It was bitter cold today but the sun was in and out. Sun/Mon is when we're projected to get snow.

I'm in Minnesota, and there's supposed to be a big storm in the next couple of days. We already have several inches of snow, and I actually got stuck trying to get out of my driveway the other night. Other than the shoveling, I love the snow and I'm glad we've gotten it in time with Christmas since it's so beautiful.

Would it be unkind of me to mention that I spent yesterday, naked on the beach? :biggrin:
However, I dread my bike ride into work tomorrow and the couple of days after. That big arctic cold will be here by this evening and even with warming will be in the upper 30s tomorrow morning.

Part of the Metrodome's roof collapsed. Good thing it didn’t happen during the game that was supposed to happen today.

I feel sorry for you guys northeast. The most its done this weekend here is rain. The temp has been in the low 60s. We're expected to get more showers this week and the temp will drop into the 50s and 40s, but no snow.
