Hard to pick, but of this list, I'd have to say Beat It. It's funny but it seems a lot of his songs that were really great, didn't make it to #1. Just goes to show figures ain't everything.

Katherine Jackson's Lawyer Goes After Joe Jackson Originally posted Jun 13th 2010 8:37 PM PDT by TMZ Staff
Joe Jackson's cruel attack -- that his wife, Katherine, is responsible for Michael's death, is but the latest in a rich history of reckless, untrue comments ... so says Katherine's lawyer and the lawyer for Michael Jackson's estate.
Katherine is not commenting on what amounts to her husband's declaration of war -- that she refused to "keep [Michael] cheered up" because she didn't want to invade his privacy, and he'd be alive today if she had.
Katherine's lawyer, Adam Streisand, tells TMZ, "The world knows that Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving mother and grandmother, and that she and Michael had a very special relationship." Streisand then drives it home: "The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget."
Howard Weitzman, lawyer for the Michael Jackson estate, tells TMZ, "The inference by Joe Jackson that Mrs. Jackson was in any way responsible for Michael's death is preposterous. Katherine Jackson was a supportive and loving mother throughout Michael's life. His love and respect for her is reflected in his estate plan." Ouch ... and true.
Now here's how Joe may have screwed himself. He's not included in Michael's will and no matter how hard he tries to invalidate the will, he's going to end up with nothing in that department. The chances of Joe getting a court-approved allowance from the estate are slim to none. And Joe is trying to exploit Michael's name to make money, but his unauthorized attempts have pretty much been shut down by the estate.
So the only thing Joe has been able to rely on ... Katherine's generosity in the money department. Looks like that gravy train may have finally left the station.

When did Michael look his best to you? I know we're supposed to laud the dark chocolate Michael that existed up until around "We Are The World," but personally I think he looked his best during his Puerto Rican Bad era.
He was considerably lighter, but wasn't as transparent as he'd become later on.
To me, Michael Jackson was good-looking his entire life!!!!

Subject: His music video personas Tue Oct 05, 2010 2:13 am
His music video personas. I've asked this before on another board, but of these characters from his long music videos:
Captain EO The Maestro from Ghosts Michael from Smooth Criminal
which of them would you have wanted to personally know and hang out with?
I can't pick, I'd have to take them all. I always thought Captain EO was very underrated and a great film and I always used to imagine what it would be like traveling through the galaxy with a crew like that. And I also always wondered about what it would be like to live in that creepy house with the Maestro who delighted in scaring people (and I always wondered exactly WHAT kind of scary stories he was supposed to be telling that frightened the kids that got their parents involved?), and then in Moonwalker, especially at the 30s Club, really, how do you pick?

Don't like it. It has that 'toyish', 'Peter Pan' ish vibe/image to it. And that didn't work out too well for him when he was alive.

Agree. It looks like a Dangerous rehash. Also, apparently, this new album is compiled of vaulted recordings from years gone by. So my guess is that this is just the beginning of the Tupac-ization of Michael Jackson.
There's controversy about whether or not it's actually him, but I think it is. Sounds like him.

(sighs) Robin, Robin, Robin.....you're starting to disappoint me now. Solely based on the fact that the agreed to be on this record with T-Pain ruining it. Robin's voice actually sounds just like MJ's and it would've been perfect if he just done it himself.

I personally like it, it looks like it's folded. The cover we see is the middle, you'll notice the sides are cutoff so expect the more recent to the right while the older MJ to the left.

I think it's him too, plus experts & Teddy Riley autheticated it. I just think it was highly produced bec it was rather a far from complete track in its raw form. Probably some reinforced vocals were added. The lyrics is really nice IMO.

Oprah's gonna be interviewing Katherine, Joe and Michael's kids today on her show.
Katherine screwed up on some of her comments but I think she tried the best she could given that Oprah's a master manipulator. What hurt me more was seeing Katherine so devastated & hurting & Oprah didn't have a single ounce of sympathy for her, she's just sitting their indifferent to Katherine. The 3 kids put Oprah in her place though, you can see the Prince clearly didn't like her. The interview is up on YT btw.

will.i.am Says New Michael Jackson Album Is Disrespectful by J-23 posted November 15, 2010 at 5:43AM PST
Former MJ collaborator will.i.am doesn't think this album should be coming out
Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am was working with Michael Jackson on new music before his passing, music that he feels should never see the light of day. The former Ruthless Records artist isn't upset because he wasn't asked to work on this album, but because MJ never signed off on this.
“Whoever put it out and is profiting off of it, I want to see how cold they are,” will told EW. "To say that what [Michael] contributed during his life wasn’t enough. He just wasn’t any ordinary artist. He was a hands-on person. To me it’s disrespectful. There’s no honoring.”
This isn't the first time will.i.am spoke out against this album, he made similar remarks this summer. "I don't think that should ever come out," he said. "That's bad. He was a perfectionist and he wouldn't have wanted it that way. How you gonna release Michael Jackson when Michael Jackson ain't here to bless it?"
will echoed those sentiments to EW. “Michael Jackson songs are finished when Michael says they’re finished,” he continued. “Maybe if I never worked with him I wouldn’t have this perspective. He was very particular about how he wanted his vocals, the reverb he used…he was that hands-on.”
