| As with most "extrasensory perceptions" it is probably a lot of observation that we intuitively do that we may not be conscious of. Discounting the flaming gay ppl and the non-gay metro-sexuals some str8 appearing gay ppl may give off certain "vibes" that we pick up on and that is where the gaydar is.
My gaydar doesn't always function properly. In the '80s I worked at a place where I did not know a co-worker was gay. I never connected the dots at the time - but later, years after I quit, we had some good times in bed. | |

| I guess some "sixth sense" can tell you if someone you don't know too well is, but for me I think a lot of GAYDAR has to do with the way guys look at me. Straight men don't hold eye contact with other guys any longer than they have to. Gay guys do. | |
