| I have to wonder who Marty has in mind to tell the secret too, who else hates Natalie that much that they would reveal it? | |

| I think Marty's gonna tell Jessica. Jessica's secret about Ford is long out and she think she's having Brody's baby, so Marty will probably think she (Jess) has nothing to lose from this, even if it upsets her. | |

Oh boy if she tells Jessica all hell is going to break loose. Jess will probably split again and Tess will come out and spill the beans to Johnny not to mention Brody will be totally freaked out. Looks like you may be right Chris, it could very well be Tess.

| UGH - it would be just like TPTB do to that. I just hope someone makes Marty suffer!!!! She needs to pay for all she's done. A nice, long stint in St. Anne's, but I don't think she's actually crazy. She's far too malicious and calculating. Todd was right to cut her out of Hope's life and I hope that Starr sees Marty for what she really is - a lying, vengeful, heartless creature who cares for no one but herself and raised a son who's a cold-blooded killer with a histody of violence and a lack of remorse for all of his crimes and a gleeful enjoyment of some of them. | |

| I think the Viki/Echo stuff in the kitchen was way overplayed. Also not sure how I'm feeling about this Viki-Dorian "friends" thing happening as a result of it. Still not quite sure why Dorian is so interested in wanting to help Viki to stick it to Echo. What does she get out of this? | |

| I think TPTB are trying to cash in on the whole Tea/Blaire being frienemies and trying the same thing with Dorian/Viki, which is having the same results - forced and overdone. | |

Thats the true Marty you are seeing but you have to understand her past. Her parents died and left her with her Aunt Kiki who gave her no love or guidance and was never at home so she basically grew up all by herself. She lost herself in alcohol at times when she went off the deep end. She tried her hand at love but was always looking in all the wrong places so therefore she was rejected. She was brutally raped by Todd and his fraternity brothers and that left her very bitter until she met Patrick. She finally found love with Patrick, married him and then he was killed and that left her alone again with her son to raise. She tried her hand at love again when she met Johnny but Natalie the beast dashed that to pieces. Can't blame the girl for doing the things she does, even though its wrong (I actually like her tormenting Natalie) but she has reasons to be the way she is. She needs Todd in her life to straighten her out, her and Todd together would rock!

| I got a kick out of seeing Echo fall down the chimney yesterday. Not sure how I feel about this new Sam, but he looks close enough like the other one and can recite dialogue, so I guess he works out for the time being. The Joey/Kelly/Aubrey thing is dry IMO. | |

Im surprised the Chimney survived Echo falling through it, a bit unrealistic since they did have the fire burning in it before Jack poured the water on it but it was still funny. The new Sam at least has a little life in him, the other one was like a doll he just stood there with his little glasses making his eyes look enormous.

| Yesterday, towards the end of the show, Aubrey was in the kitchen with Clint, she looked at him, said Merry Christmas, walked away, turned around again and looked at him and left the room. The look on Clint's face has me thinking, do you think Clint put her up to something????????? Did anyone else catch that? | |

I did and it felt very ominous. Not even Asa was that creepy. They better be careful, else instead of Clint becoming Asa, he may become another Victor Lord.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit, considering how he had him locked in a Moroccan prison!

| Much as I like evil Clint, I really hope Bo shows him no mercy and there's a rift between them for a good while. If Bo goes all soft on Clint after all this, it will be a complete farce. | |

I don't think that Bo is going to take it so lightly, he took his son and had him locked up in prison, brainwashed Matthew and tried to destroy his marriage. Nice brother Clint is.

But then that would excuse everything Todd's done, because his past has been pretty brutal, too. I love Todd but I won't excuse the horrible things he's done and unlike most of the others on the show, he regrets his horrible things, while most don't seem the least bit bothered by their crimes and those crimes certainly don't haunt them the way Todd's crimes come back to haunt him in some way. This Marty is so harsh and such an absolute bitch. TPTB have turned her into a villain. They should pair her with Clint, as both seem to be the same heartless, vengeful bastards who care for no one but themselves. I hope they both end up alone and miserable. It's a good thing Patrick isn't around to see what Marty has become - he's be devastated. If we saw the slightest bit of remorse form Marty, the slightest bit of heart, it would be one thing, but there's nothing but coldness - a Grinch who has no heart.

Awwww I missed that. I'm stuck watching on the US channels while at my parents and Obama decided to interrupt so he could give some speech. I switched channels and kept surfing back but by the time he was done, OLTL was pretty much over. I hate not being able to watch on the Canadian stations, as they've only interrupted once that I can recall, other than when there have been HUGE stories in the US, like 9-11. When big news stories are happening, the Canadian channels will keep the updates confined to commercials, rather than repeating the same info every few minutes and telling people to stay tuned for updates.

I don't think that Bo is going to take it so lightly, he took his son and had him locked up in prison, brainwashed Matthew and tried to destroy his marriage. Nice brother Clint is. I don't know - look who Bo is married to. He keeps excusing Nora and Cole's crimes and trying to get Cole off, so maybe he'll treat Clint the same way he's done with Nora and Cole. He clearly doesn't see them for who they really are, so it wouldn't surprise me if he went soft on Clint, though I hope he doesn't. If he does, though, he'll end up looking pretty hypocritical, given how he treats Nora and Cole. The sad truth is, I can't stand most of the Buchs anymore. They're nothing but a bunch of criminals without a conscience. Jessica is the only one I actually like anymore. Clint didn't have to work too hard to brainwash Matthew - Matthew was looking for it and feel prey to Clint because it's what he wanted. Matthew is the one who's truly a mini-Asa - selfish, unrelenting, heartless. Clint is a villain, just as Marty is. Nora isn't that much different than Matthew. She should be proud of what he's become - he's a true blend on his Mom and his paternal grandfather and he's nto even 18 yet.

Exactly, her and Todd have done some horrible things so together they would either be the best Villain couple in Llanview or show remorse for their treacherous ways and try to heal as a couple. Patrick is not around but I have a feeling with TK leaving All My Children he is going to be heading to Llanview sometime in 2011.

The big difference is Todd feels remorse for his crimes and misdeeds, whereas Marty feels none. With the way Marty is being written, there's no way I want her anywhere near Todd. She's being written as a hypocritical, heartless, one-dimensional bitch whose turned a blind eye to her son's crimes, with the result that her son is now in prison serving a very short term for his cold-blooded murder. Until Marty starts owning up to her mistakes and crimes and stops acting like such a hyprocrite, I don't want her anywhere near Todd.

I knew it was a rerun so I didn't waste time watching - esp. not an eppy that features Cole. Glad that he's gone and I hope he STAYS gone!!! I'd have had a fit, too, had I not known they were repeating eppies today and tomorrow.
