| I watched the Miracle Worker last night, forgot what a great movie it is. Patty Duke and Anne Bancroft gave the performances of their lives. Patty Duke deserved the oscar she won.

| That's a great movie! We showed it to a high school resource block class and they really enjoyed it. didn't even complain that it was B&W. | |

| I love classic B&W movies, the lack of color dosen't bother me at all.

| Me either, but this was a high shcool class used to the fancy, high-tech movies, so we were pleasantly surprised. We'd even debated showing it, 'cause we weren't sure what the kids would think, but they didn't care, either. I don't mind the good B&W movies, though some cane be really cheesy with poor acting but The Miracle Worker is awesome, or movies like "To Sir With Love" or "To Kill a Mocking Bird". | |

It is. Dr. Stranglove, Seven Days In May, Night Of The Hunter, Touch Of Evil and Fail-Safe are some other very good B&W films made when color was common. Also Paths Of Glory. | |
