    According to soaps.com:

    "Carmen LoPorto will be leaving the role of Jack. The actor explained, 'Thank you for all your support over the past 3-1/2 years as Jack. I got a call this week that they SORAS'ed Jack and I am no longer a member of the Manning Family. It's been fun and an experience that I will never forget. Thank You All Again. Here's to bigger and better things to come in 2011.'"

    Isn't that nice, the best Jack Manning they have had and now what is he going to be 17 years old? I am surprised they didn't do it to Starr and Matthew, at least we got to watch them grow up on the show. TPTB really suck sometimes.

    With Dani around, I had a feeling Jack's SORASing would come sooner or later. I wonder if he'll STILL be younger than her, or if they'll become the exact same age.

    I hate SORASing kids we've seen cause it makes it even more implausible. This Jack is great. I don't like this one bit.

    That's too bad, I liked CL as Jack and enjoyed watching him mature into a better actor. Since he is almost fourteen, I wonder how much older they're aiming for.

    I can't say I'm surprised.There always seems to be room for one more snarky teen on the soaps.I predict loads of conflict with his dad.No surprise there.

    ^^^^They need to do a role reversal and avoid the conflict with the Dad and make the conflict with his MOM. Todd has antagonized TWO of his teen children already. Let Blair have a turn to be the bad parent. Razz

    I'm really going to miss Carmen. He was a great addition to the cast and oen of the few bright spots.
