Worst book you ever read

What is the book or books that if you could get the horrible print erased from the back of your mind, you would?

For me, no contest, it is Freddy Krueger's Seven Sweetest Dreams...now I know it's Freddy we're dealing with but that book was so sickening, so mortifying, I couldn't even get halfway through it, certain parts from that book just...they just...I can't even begin to explain how haunted and traumatized I felt after reading it, and the worst parts you hope to bury from your mind, they just come back all the time and you remember the horrible things that happened to his victims in it, it's just
