Who wears socks to bed?

I don't know why it bothers me so much but my younger brother wears socks to sleep. It's like a running gag in our house how he refuses to be seen w/o socks on. Last year when his bedroom was being painted he slept with me and had on his scruffy dirty socks. It was hideous.

Nah I sleep naked. It'd look silly of me to have my bare ass against the sheets while wearing socks.

I read a study a while back that showed that they cured insomnia in a large number of people by having them wear socks to bed. I never thought about it being gross, I just know that I need my feet to be naked to be able to sleep.

I sleep naked. Cannot be comfortable in bed with clothes on and socks really bother me.

Never. I can't even imagine such a thing.

I'd never be able to get comfortable wearing socks under the covers. I don't even like wearing them when I'm at home just walking around.

i wear them when its cold, ill have them on when i first fall asleep, but i will take them off sometime during the night.

My bedroom gets very cold at night in winter despite keeping the airway clear for the heating vent and turning the heat up and piling under 3 quilts, so sometimes in the winter I wear them, or if they're dry and cracked and I need to put lotion on them and it'll keep the lotion from getting on the sheets, otherwise hell no.

Sorry. I never realized some people felt this passionately about this subject. Yes, I do wear socks to bed because I tend to kick the covers off and my feet get cold. Even in the summer because of the AC. Mind you, I wear clean socks to bed. White, athletic “sweat sock” type. I don’t sleep naked but come to think about it I usually only wear a pair of boxers to bed because I do tend to get overheated during the night causing me to wake up. Over heated everywhere but my feet. And yes, my circulation is fine. I think it all started years ago when I used to go bare foot to bed and I woke up one morning with a sore throat and freezing feet. I guess I decided never to take the chance again.

Socks or no socks the scruffy dirty ones are gross.

I do wear socks to bed beginning when temps drop in fall. In summer I do not.

I do sometimes when its really cold outside and they are always clean socks. Most of the time though I don't wear them to bed.

If it's especially cold, I will.
