Chris, I read that post when you first posted it and the thing that makes you so great is that it is 100% believable. You are talented at making a forum great, and you are humble. I can't imagine ever coming across another person who runs a forum that does it better than you do.

You take every comment to heart and work hard to try new things and never play the bad guy. I am sitting her typing this knowing that on the one year anniversary, you are so proud that you have a group that communicates as we all do, and that the pride is not stemmed from being egotistical, but rather from the selfless nature you have in regard to our home here. That is so cool to me and I know I am not alone in that feeling.

You truly do an excellent job and make all of us feel significant, and that is so admirable. Kudos, to you Dear, on a year well done with this endeavor.

May all of us and many others celebrate with you year after year.

Red, you and Alan just leave me feeling very humbled during this early morning hour. I can't tell you how much it means to me that you (all) joined this forum, and over the course of a year have continued to return faithfully. It really speaks to your characters as well, and shows just how gracious and congenial you've (all) been to devote time to a *new* forum; one that is still experiencing growing pains, is trying to find its voice amongst the trillion of others on the Internet, and may not always be readily booming with activity. That you all continually keep coming back, despite it all just warms my heart.

ITA with what Red said! You've created a great place here - a refreshing change from what I've been used to. You've resorted my faith that there can be decent places out there to post and disagree, a place where most people are respectful, rather than a few rabid ones ruling the board. Some of you know the place I came from, seeking refuge from that vile, disgusting board, and I found this awesome site. I love the discussions and threads that people start, even when I don't comment on them. You've done a great job in creating a welcoming, friendly place and you really listen to us when we have concerns.
