I guess they are all in town to see the ball drop in Times Square. I did that a couple of NYE's, its an exhilirating experience and the crowd goes wild but I won't do it anymore, its usually too cold and trying to get away from half million people takes forever.

I can imagine it is a sight to see, but such a huge lot of folks, that it makes it less fun after the fact.

It really does Red, it literally takes you half hour to cross the street but the streets are so charged with energy that most people don't mind.

I guess that's one of my 'goals,' to one day make it out to NYC and Time Square on NYE to see the ball drop at midnight.

If you wanted to experience it then sure why not! The subway stops right under Times Square.

I've always thought it would be AMAZING to be there when the ball dropped, but I really don't like big crowds, so I don't think I'd do to well.

LOL, watching the ball drop is SO old. I wouldn't even bother unless I was taking someone who was adamant about seeing it. A friend of mine just graduated from the NYPD police academy and they have to work on that day...........the entire day. Sucks for them. I would never want to work in that shit.
