How was your New Year's Eve?
Mine was pretty good. I finally finished off the bottle of champagne I got for my 21st birthday two months ago, and ooooh boy, I don't get how anybody could have a stomach for hard drinking, but it was a good night.

Re: How was your New Year's Eve?
Mine was good. My son and I played board games and watched Ryan Seacrest and Carson. He decided that he would only make it to ring in New Years with NY!! And that was fine.
My guy was tired from a long day of work and going to try to buy another truck for his fleet...I suspect the seller had beer flowing, as he was in a poor form when he got home and headed to bed after the news...I was kinda pissed, but happy that the whole bottle of champagne was all mine. I never buy the stuff, but adore it on NYE.
I guess ringing in the New Year alone was not so bad, but it is probably the only time I have done it alone, so I felt sorry for myself for a short time....then I saw Snooki's ass in a ball and realized that I have it pretty sweet here. I get to wake up tomorrow being me and she still has to be her. No amount of money is worth that hot mess.

Re: How was your New Year's Eve?
I had a quiet evening at home watching a DVD (Snakes on a Plane - got it yestrday for $4 - didn't want to pay $8 to see it in theater - a wise choice)
Then took a bath and stayed up on the computer til most of the noise was done by 12:30 a.m. & went to bed.

Fairly uneventful but the food was good. And anytime there's an excuse for a table full of food, it's a good thing.

Re: How was your New Year's Eve?
My NYE was great. Didn't get in until about 5:30 in the morning. Slept until about 2 o'clock this afternoon. Now my body is on this off kilter sleep clock, which isn't good because I have to go to work Monday morning.

I hate that, I usually catch up the day after when I am too exhausted to stay awake anymore.

I hate it too (even if it is my own fault). I know I'm gonna have to try and force myself to go to sleep tonight no later than 3am so that I can at least wake up tomorrow morning and be up long enough to go to bed at a decent time tomorrow night.

Re: How was your New Year's Eve?
If you get up a little earlier tomorrow morning then you should be ok for Monday, you will catch up by then. I got home about 3:30 was up till 4 and got up at 8 today so I am feeling like my head wants to hit the keyboard any minute now.

Tony is such a morning person. Despite my having to continually wake up to pee out all that I drank last night, I didn't wake up for good until around three this afternoon.

Chris, honestly I don't think I have ever slept past 10 in my entire life, I could come home at 6am and be up at 8 or 9 but I pay for it as the day goes by.

Hey, that's a good thing, because the truth is that society functions during the day. I have a friend who will stay up all night, go to bed at around ten or eleven in the morning, and then sleep for the rest of the day. IMO, that's not healthy. You wind up missing out on the day. Me, on a lazy day, I may sleep until twelve in the afternoon. Last night was just an active excursion that required some extra snore time.

It was okay. Didn't even drink as much as I thought I would. I got home around 2 am.

I was that way all through my 20's. It sucked. Now, I can sleep in a bit...but this year, though I stayed up late, my son got me up at 8.
Oh, and Snooki is one of those Jersey Shore lame girls!
