It's Saturday Morning...........

OMG, Alan, of all the people I "know" online, you have the best quips.

Anyhoo, Tony, I hope you didn't get too much. Shale, I hope you got enough.

My day sort of sucked. My son was playing at a friend's all afternoon, so I missed him. I had ordered a taco salad from Perkins, and I think that the black olives were bad. I felt awful until about eight tonight. So, once I felt better, it was too late to go do anything with my son. And it sucks because there were a lot of cool things to do in my city tonight.

One highlight from the Perkins trip was that while I was feeling very ill, a friend, whose mom is a red hatter texted me saying, "my mom was at the Perkins right by your house today and somebody anonymously bought them all cookies."

Well, it was me that bought them the cookies. There were exactly 16 red hatters at the table and my friend's mom did not see me, so when I paid my bill, I bought them cookies to be sent to the table as they had bags of mini cookies, sold in a pack of 16 for under three dollars. I thought it would be fun.

I just adore red hatters. They are so awesome. I didn't tell my friend it was me and just texted that I thought that sounded cool.

My mom is a member - and while she was in the hospital (physical probs + dementia) they came to visit and you could tell they were quite close. Nice women.

People have to recover from last night. Well, at least I do. I should still be asleep but for some reason, I'm not. I'll go back to sleep in about an hour.

I'm here. Woke up abruptly, despite my not having to work this morning. Now I am contemplating whether or not I should remain up and go get some BK for breakfast, or turn back over and try to catch a few more z's. Decisions.

Mmmm. Saturday. Taking a long drive to the Southshore for a show and then spending in the city with my boyfriend. But then again, my bed is very comfortable... *sprawl*

I was helping out around the house at my mother in law's. Got back a little while ago.

The rains of yesterday have left and it is beautiful here as well. Gonna go by the Cine. Two poorly rated rom/coms playing. Gotta decide which to waste my $7.50 on.

I am labeling today as a "mental health" day as I really did nothing at all productive but for some grocery shopping. I was lazy all day and that is not like me on a Saturday. I didn't even manage to watch any good TV, which is usually what people do when they have a lazy day.
