To get your car's gas tank past up to 'F,' how much does it cost you?

I don't have a car so my size 12 foot leaves a very small carbon footprint.

If I was on "E" (I try not to go past half full if I can help it), about $30 as of the price of gas today.

If I'm so low my fuel light is on, it costs exactly $27 (and some odd change) at this particular filling station next to my apartment complex. Generally it costs around $28, depending on where else I go.

It's probably about $40. I don't drive a lot, so I never fill it, but just put $20 in per time and that gets me to half if I am on E.

From 'E', it's about $58. Gas is $3.39 here for plus, $3.49 for premium. I never put regular gas in my car.

Does that really make a difference? I never put anything but regular in mine

Costs me between $33 and $35 to go from E to F. That's why I NEVER let it go more than just a little under 1/2 full. I'm not interested in paying to all that money to fill up my tank all the way.

Yes. Premium may cost more, but it stays in your car longer. You save money over time and it is the better gas.

Here's another question: do you have a favorite (or preferred) gas station? My gas station of choice is Exxon.

To answer Chris's first question: It takes me anywhere from $40-$45 to fill up the tank all the way from "E" to "F". But I drive a Chevy Pickup and it's a large tank, so it naturally takes more to fill it up. It also gets pretty good gas mileage - I would say something like 30 MPG.
To answer Chris's second question: My favorite gas station is Road Ranger! It's a big area of pumps and the cashiers are always really nice. Really, very good service there. But I absolutely refuse to fill up at a BP Station. Not just because of the Oil Spill, but because they always have snooty high school students working at the register who think they're doing me some sort of a favor by acting like a total ass.

I have no idea, as I always fill up between the 1/2 and 1/4 mark. If I'm close to the 1/4 mark, it costs me about $45 Canadian to fill up. If it's closer to the 1/2 way mark, it's about $35, so I'm guessing an empty tank would be $55 or $60. The dollar is trading on par right now, so I don't even have to really convert. Gas prices are about $1.14/litre or so where I live and $1.19/l where my brother lives. Some places in Canada are as high as $1.26.
