When John got on his cell and asked FISH if he had found Natalie, I didn't know whether to laugh or at the irony. The writers were trying to be cute and toss Kish fans a bone, but I'm sure it probably seemed more like a slap in the face than an acknowledgment.

They should've just killed Fish off and then we wouldn't have to deal with this.

It stood out like a sore thumb. Unless they are planning to have Fish reemerge soon, it was kind of a patronizing and sleazy thing to do; more of a bitter reminder of his disappearance than a real shot out. It isn't as if Fish is like a Renee or a Roxy, who may make an appearance or two every other month. He was unceremoniously dropped from the canvas, has no lingering presence and many of his and Kyle's fans are still bitter about it.

They're prolly trying to placate Kish fans, given the sorry state of things.
