Would you consider yourself a workaholic? Has there ever been a time when you preferred going to work over having leisure time?

    no

I work to live, I don't live to work. That doesn't mean you better not be standing between me and the front door at 5:00. I've stayed late or been there on the weekend because a deadline had to be met but not because I would rather be there then someplace else having fun.

I am not one ounce a workaholic and I've never chosen to work over leisure time. I work as little as possible. I work just enough to get by, and that's good enough for me. I'd rather have free time than luxuries that need to be slaved for.

Not at all. It's taken me years to get past the urge to jump at the chance to run out of there every time they ask people if they'd like to leave early. Give me a months paid vacation and it will be like I literally dropped off the planet.

God, no. I'm still holding out hope that a winning million dollar lottery ticket will fall into my hand so that I'll never have to punch a timeclock ever again.

When I'm not at work, I'm emotionally divorced from the job. The only time I ever poured my heart into work was when my marriage was falling apart and I needed a refuge from home.

Yes. I work all the time. I like money. I'm trying to get to a certain place in my life where I won't have to work so much, but until I get there.....I'm going to work hard for as long as I can or want. I want to have things to pass down to my children and future generations.

Hell no. Unlike most other people who are 'workaholics', I do have a social life. I know how to balance it. Like most people, I'll complain about going to work and if I don't have to or I need a break, I'll nicely stay my ass at home. I'm not the type that would forgo vacation.

Not at all. My mother, I won't call her a workaholic either, but compared to her, she DOES stay busy every day working on everything, I have absolutely NO work ethic, I'm very lazy, I'll admit it, I have no desire to work like a dog all day, and when I have to I do have a tendency to drag my feet and moan and groan about the whole thing. I'm with CatEyes, every week I hope to win the lottery, or I hope to write a best seller which will then in turn be bought to be made into a hit movie so I can live off the profits and the royalties and so writing would have to be the only work I'd have to do ever again, which I enjoy because it's not a physical job, it's not a time clock job, it's what I enjoy doing, not cleaning or gardening or whatever.

I'm not a workaholic, I'm a SAHM...So I do the same thing everyday no matter what with minor changes and the hours are long, but it's a work of love, not a job that I dread. I do like to stay busy though, I get antsy when I have down time so I like to find something to occupy me.

I used to work a lot of overtime but now they have cut it and there is none so I am not a workaholic.

I have never been a workaholic at any job. I work my shift and leave. Don't even like to stay five minutes over. I'm very "anal" (ROFLMAO!) about holding employers to their schedule as they are the employees. If they wrote that I'm supposed to be out @ 6, then buh-bye @ 6!

I know how to make myself look like one, but nope....I despise being part of the working class, it's a drag. Give me the right 3, 4, or 6 numbers to play and I wouldn't work another day in my life.

When I was a workaholic, I made half the salary, I do now, making another person rich. Not worth it.
