I could've sworn I did a post about this, but it doesn't seem so, so....

If EVER there was a movie that was like watching an acid trip, this one gets my vote. It's just so WEIRD. That said it does have some very good music, and some hilarious scenes.

    But weird, notwithstanding.

I can't believe that my partner and I went all over Miami in '75 trying to get to the theater to see this movie. Our interest in it was that Pete Townsend of The Who was a Baba lover so we felt a connection to him.

I later got this on DVD and could barely watch it again. Gave the DVD away. Guess you do change over the years.

The first time I heard this CD it blew me away. Tommy, the Who with the London Symphony Orchestra. It was hard to find but I finally got a copy of it. This is my favorite part, Roger Daltry singing "Welcome", Ringo Starr singing "Tommy's Holiday Camp", then Roger Daltry singing with the whole Orchestra "We're not gonna take it", its just awesome. You have to listen to it LOUD!!! Youtube has all 10 parts, part 10 is the end with See me Feel me touch me.

I'm a Who fan anyway. Loved the album. Hated the movie. Wasn't crazy about Quadrophenia either.

Which did you like? The movie was a bit on the dreary side. I like Ann Margret so I got a thrill seeing her in it.
